THE CHALLENGE
The world of spirits has been male-dominated for far too long, but how do you bring change to a long-established industry? By understanding that real change is born from meaningful purpose. On the small Norwegian island of Fedje, a group of changemakers came together – a small group of women with a big ambition: positive transformation for the spirits industry.

Together, their combined sentiment runs through everything FEDDIE is and does: from how it thinks, to how it behaves. But, separately, each also has its moment to shine…

A simple, bold design language representing an unapologetic brand personality that's woven through the brand world. Expected tropes and clichés of the whisky category are refreshingly absent - replaced with a clean, modern aesthetic.

We project a deep appreciation for the timeless natural energy of Fedje. After all, the jagged landscape, the wild ocean and the fierce weather have all contributed to shaping the character of the inhabitants of the island – just as they’ve shaped the character of the drinks now crafted there.


PROGRESS YOU CAN FEEL
The Feddie Single Malt Whisky bottle doesn't just reflect the ocean visually - it's textured with 521 embossed dashes for Fedje's inhabitants and 750 dots for its investors. And as these numbers grow, so to will the marks on future releases - a record of progress on every bottle.

Our gin and aquavit bottles tell a layered story - an island, natural ingredients, and a bold white placard bearing our message: Powered by Women.
Together, they capture our spirit of place, progress, and people in a design that's simple, textural, and made to be felt.

SUSTAINABLE CREDENTIALS
Flying boldly in the face of premium spirit conventions, we put all we could into the creation of as sustainable a bottle as we could. Such consideration doesn’t end at the point of production. It follows each and every FEDDIE single malt bottle to its final destination – through the careful identifying and planning of the most sustainable transportation routes possible.
THE RACE FOR CHANGE
Every bottle in the first batch of FEDDIE single malt was entirely unique – featuring the name of a different investor or distillery worker on its label. That’s a thousand names adorning a thousand bottles, creating instant collectability. Soon, an exciting search was on as contributors and supporters sought our the bottle bearing their name. Within weeks of going on sale. Feddie single malt had sold out, and remarkably, it became the best-selling malt whisky in the shops across the Norwegian monopoly that November - an unprecedented feat.
